Despite being completely surrounded by mountains, The City of Roanoke is well connected to the outside world.  Located along I-581 and adjacent to I-81, Roanoke is a day’s drive from approximately half of the U.S. population, including the high population centers of the Northeast and South.  Rail access guarantees quick and easy shipment to any part of the country, and the Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport guarantees you are no more than one connection from almost anywhere in the world.
